This video is reminds me of an airlines experience that my spouse and I had on our honeymoon early this spring. Our trip was booked through Expedia. Our baggage went to Paris – we did not!
Mitch Mitchell is one of rock’s greatest drummers. The drummer for Jimi Hendrix’s trio band Experience, passed away Wednesday in a Portland Oregon hotel room. He had just completed the tour “Experience Hendrix.” He was 62 years old. I admired Mitchell’s drumming since I bought my first album by Experience titled Axis Bold as Love. I still play my drums along with Mitchell on CD’s. He is one of the toughest drummers to play along. Anyone up to yet another Experience tribute trio(Q)
Another great drummer, Buddy Miles, same age as Mitchell, 62 died earlier this year. Miles played with Hendrix and Billy Cox on bass in the Band of Gypsies. Great sound on this video, it’s from their album. Here’s Buddy and Randy Hansen – wow!
